Professional Standards &
Project Requirements

The right credentials and project documents matter. We aim to make those details clear before work begins.

Design, engineering and construction requirements depend on the type of project and the jurisdiction. Where a project requires licensed architectural or engineering services, they must be performed under the applicable professional rules.

Construction services

Applicable contractor registration and trade-licensing requirements will be confirmed for the project location. In the state of Texas, residential general contracting is governed at the municipal and county levels rather than through a single statewide general contractor licence.

We ensure trade contractors (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) hold valid licenses issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).

Architectural & engineering services

State the actual licensed firm and responsible architect / engineer details only after verifying registrations and permissions. Do not imply a drawing can simply be stamped by an uninvolved licensee.

Where projects require certified professional review, registered architects and licensed professional engineers (PE) perform work in responsible charge.

Insurance & documentation

Display only current, verified insurance coverage and certificates. We maintain comprehensive commercial general liability coverage and verify workers' compensation compliance on all active construction sites.

Certificate of insurance (COI) documentation naming the homeowner as an additional insured is furnished upon execution of construction agreements.

Permit responsibilities

Explain exactly who prepares plans, who submits documents, who pays government fees and who responds to review comments in each agreement.

We clearly delineate responsibilities in our contracts so homeowners understand municipal submission schedules and jurisdiction requirements.
